For Individuals
You've done everything right.
So why does it still feel like something's missing?
Values-based coaching grounded in clinical psychology
One-on-one coaching for people who've been living on autopilot and are ready to get honest about what they actually want. Structured enough to create real momentum. Flexible enough to meet you exactly where you are.
What I've Seen
I spent years sitting with people in some of the hardest moments a person can face — veterans navigating life after spinal cord injury, chronic pain, major loss. What struck me wasn't just the weight of what they'd been through. It was how many of them, once the crisis passed, still had to figure out what they actually wanted their life to look like.
I kept seeing the same thing outside the clinical setting too. People who weren't in crisis. Weren't struggling to function. But were quietly losing touch with what made the functioning feel worthwhile. Therapy wasn't what they needed. Something more forward-looking was. That's what this practice is for.
What This Is
Values-based coaching is a specific kind of work
Values-based coaching is a structured process for getting honest about what matters to you and closing the gap between that answer and the life you're currently living. It's not therapy. It's not consulting. It's something different — a conversation that takes your inner life as seriously as your outer goals.
We start with discovery. I want to understand what's been driving your decisions and whether those drivers still serve you. Then we move into planning: what needs to change, what stays, and how to make it real in the world where you actually live and work.
I draw from a deep toolkit of research-backed methods — always in service of what's useful for you, never a one-size-fits-all script. Some sessions are reflective and exploratory. Some are structured and action-oriented. All of them move you forward.
"This isn't about what's wrong with you. It's about what you actually care about — and whether your life reflects it."
How This Works
This is a two-way commitment
What I bring
A deep understanding of what it actually takes for someone to shift direction — not just insight, but real change. A framework grounded in values, not platitudes. And a willingness to ask the questions that matter, even when they're uncomfortable.
I won't pretend something's working if it isn't. And if I think you need something I can't offer, I'll tell you that too.
What you bring
Honesty. A genuine readiness to look at what's driving you — not just what looks good on paper, but what's actually going on underneath. And a willingness to act on what you find, even when it means making changes you've been putting off.
You don't need to have it figured out. You don't need to be in crisis. You just need to be ready to take yourself seriously.

What to Expect
How the work actually unfolds
The first session is about understanding where you are. I'll ask about your life — not just the big decisions, but the texture of how you spend your days. What's working? What feels like obligation? Where have you drifted from what matters to you? I'm listening for the gap between the life you're living and the one you actually want.
From there, we get specific. We name your values — not abstract ideals, but the actual principles that drive you when you're at your best. Then we look at where your life reflects those values and where it doesn't. That clarity is the foundation. Everything else builds from it.
The middle phase of coaching is where the real work happens. We build a map: what needs to change, what you want to keep, and how to make it real in the world where you actually live and work. Some weeks we're reflective — sitting with what you've discovered about yourself. Some weeks we're tactical — breaking down a specific decision or transition into concrete steps. All of it moves you toward a life that feels like yours.
You'll notice things shifting. Not because I'm fixing you — you're not broken — but because you're making deliberate choices instead of inherited ones. The pressure eases. Days feel different. You start saying yes to things that matter and no to things that don't. That's not a sudden transformation. It's a gradual recalibration.
By the end, you're not dependent on coaching. You've built your own compass. You know how to check in with yourself, how to notice when you're drifting, and how to course-correct. That's the goal — not ongoing therapy, but a skill you carry forward.
"By the end, you're not dependent on coaching. You've built your own compass."
Common Questions
Honest answers, no fine print
Is this therapy?
No. I'm a practicing clinical psychologist, but what I offer here is coaching. I don't diagnose or treat mental health conditions. If therapy is what you need, I'll help you find someone great — that work matters and deserves the right setting. This is different: forward-looking, action-oriented, and grounded in what you care about most.
Do I need to be in crisis to work with you?
Not at all. Most people who come to me are doing fine on the outside — they just have a growing sense that 'fine' isn't enough anymore. You don't need a problem to solve. You need a willingness to look honestly at what you want.
How is this different from regular life coaching?
Depth. I spent over fifteen years in clinical psychology, and I bring that understanding into every session. This isn't motivational cheerleading — it's grounded, research-backed work that takes your inner life as seriously as your outer goals.
What if I'm not sure I'm ready?
That's completely reasonable. The first step is just a conversation — no commitment, no pressure. We'll talk about where you are and what you're looking for. If it's not a good match, we'll both know.
How do I know if we're a good match?
You'll know. This work requires trust and honesty. In our first conversation, we'll talk about what you're looking for and whether my approach fits. I'd rather be straightforward upfront than have you invest time and money in something that isn't serving you.
What happens after the first session?
We decide together. Some people book a series of sessions. Others come in as needed. There's no contract, no minimum commitment. You're in control of the pace and frequency. We can adjust based on what's working for you.
